Job Readiness Workplace Training
Through classroom, workshop and presentation activities, Job Readiness Workplace Training assists clients in each step toward employment – preparing for employment, transitioning to employment, retaining employment and advancing in their careers.
Job Placement Assistance
Job Placement Assistance is available through direct referral to the employer, job fairs, targeted job fairs for program participants, collaboration with Goodwill Employer Services and other partnering agencies and employment networks.
Transition Services provide innovative services in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties for high school youth with disabilities age 16-22. Project SEARCH is one of Goodwill’s Transition Services which provides total immersion in a business setting with a seamless combination of job skills instruction, career exploration
Work Experience and Community Service Activities
These activities help clients learn the skills and abilities necessary to obtain employment and/or to apply learned skills to work experience to improve employability prior to placement. Job coaching, mentoring and case management are provided throughout these services.
Services include case management, job coaching and career advancement coaching that assist clients toward employment retention, progression, and advancement opportunities.
